Minecraft Creeper Anatomy
Rotocast Vinyl Toy
The Minecraft Creeper Anatomy Toy was developed through MAD Toy Design for Jinx, the official Mojang licensee, as a licensed retail product reimagining one of Minecraft’s most iconic characters. Instead of a standard figure, the concept used a dissected “anatomy” approach that matched the game’s block-based visual style, making the product feel more original, collectible, and display-worthy. The packaging extended this idea by adopting the feel of an exploded diagram, helping the product tell its story immediately and giving it a stronger shelf presence at launch.
My role involved supporting the project from development through retail execution, coordinating among creative, product development, manufacturing, and launch stakeholders to maintain quality, on-time delivery, and brand standards. I worked directly with overseas manufacturers to resolve tooling and production issues, supported structured QA processes that reduced defect rates below 4%, and helped drive execution for a launch that reached major retail and event channels. The project became a strong example of how product concept, packaging, and execution can work together to create a licensed item that feels both commercially smart and creatively memorable.
